I picked up a Go Phone the other day for a replacement on my contract, now I want to root it but its driving me nuts. I am used to the HTC's and they are easy. This is a Samsung SM-G530A, which is AT7T branded but what appears to be a Cricket phone and what Samsung calls a Grand Prime. I want to unlock the bootloader and root but having problems with ADB. I know the commands and how to execute but when I get to the bootloader either manually or by ADB fastboot commands stop there and I get a message of "waiting for any devices" when giving "fastboot oem unlock", and the cursor refuses to type any more. I have developers options ticked, debugging ticked, MTP ticked, I even have the new "Turn on OEM unlock" ticked. ADB dies at the fastboot OEM lock stage and sits there . What am I doing wrong? BTW its loaded with 5.1.1
