~60meg app;~400megs free...no space; won't d/l

Misc Files use up 2.15gigs. Going into that shows files that don't even reach 30megs. ~3gigs free on SD card. Frell is wrong with this hardrive? It's driving me crazy.

Welcome to Android Central! An app will always take up more internal storage on the phone than what you see listed in Google Play Store, because that figure is the filesize of the installer file, not the final app size. Much like with Windows, the fully installed app will take up significantly more storage. I would not recommend messing with the Misc. Data files, since much of that is likely important data for both system and 3rd party apps.

Ok I did some searching through and it turns out a huge chunk of those misc Files were ghost files from a couple game apps(Star Wars, Vega Conflict, Vikings) that the games were hiding and not saying it was them taking up so much space.

That's good to know! Were they .obb files, or folders full of other files?

I belive one or two were obbs and the third just full of a bunch of folders I mass deleted.
