Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch - Making calls from GG.

Apologies if this has been raised before, I searched the forum but couldn't find a similar topic.

My problem is that I can't make phone calls from my GG unless my Note 3 screen is active. When the phone screen is off the GG just gives me a "call ended" message. Does anyone else have the same issue? Is this normal behaviour for the GG?
FYI, I live in Norway and have installed the latest update allowing notifications from Gmail etc. Everything else seems to be working well.

No this is not normal behaviour..suggest you pair the GG again or reboot.

I have the same problem with my S4. Can't figure it out, but I think it's a software bug b/c I can't see any logic why it would make sense to do it.

absolutely not normal behavior....the suggestion to pair the gg to the phone again is a good one.....i would also try resetting the watch and starting from scratch before you pair them.

Hi everyone! I have exactly the same problem. I really hope it's just a software bug. FYI, I'm from the Philippines.

Do you have the Google voice app installed, if so select a default number to call from... Had the same issue took me and hour to figure it out.
