I would also like to find out about this. As of now, I have over 50 notifications and the only way to erase them is one by one :/

Good question, I have yet to find one. I noticed today I had email notifications from over a week ago and the emails were long ago deleted off my GN3. So what gives.

Yes there is a way. Go to messages, open, touch the garbage can, u will see two check marks, touch and all messages will be checked , then delete

Sadly it just cleared the email app. but so far Gmail is the primary one I get notifications on.

If you go to Notifications, every app that has active notifications is listed. Go to each app and touch the garbage can, then the double checkmark symbol which selects all then delete. This deletes all the notifications from that app - easier than deleting one at a time.

I still have a missed call in my notifications and I clear my call log on my phone. Why?
