How do I remove the items searched from my Galaxy Grand GT 19060?

Good evening, this is my first time in Android Central.

How do I remove the "items searched" in my Galaxy grand GT 19060, when I search for a contact. It displays the number of contacts searched, even after I find what I need.

What are you using to search? Google Now, the dail pad, or something else? In your Google settings app, there should be an icon in your app drawer, you can manage your history for all of your Google items under Account History. If you're using the dialer you may be able to clear search history/results by going into your App Manager under settings>All>Phone, and then clear your Data and Cache. If you are using something else the latter technique may work for that as well.
