Can't Play Music Off Micro SD?

I just got a galaxy grand prime. I have a 32gb micro sdhc card i planned on using to store my music on. But after so many songs I copy onto my sd card the files randomly disappear, wont play, or skip after the first 2 seconds of the song. Why the what is happening? How do I fix this? How do I get all my music to play on my phone off the sd card? I have approx. 4000 songs i keep trying to put on my card, but no more than 100 will stay and play properly. Help plz

Have you used the card in another device? Sounds like your card is damaged or the files corrupted when copied... Does it happen if you try a different card in your device?

If you are transferring the songs from a PC to the phone, make sure to click the Safely Remove Hardware icon before disconnecting the phone.
