Hello everyone,
I have a question. Is there any safe way of rooting my Galaxy J5 without damaging or killing it?I have rooted an older phone in the past, however it quickly became unresponsive at random, the system would "stop working",later on I had to reset it to factory settings every 2 hours and it would sometimes even give me the beautiful pink screen of dying :') Before it actually died...
I'm just scared that if I root my current phone that it's demise be as quick. So was it just me rooting my phone with malicious software that time and I can prevent it with this one or is there just no safe way of doing it?

Thank you in advance~

Welcome to the forums. Rooting is technically never safe. There is always a chance of doing some damage to the software.

May I ask what you need root access for?
