I hope it's $500 . Is September 25 the release date? Also if anyone knows where to pre order it let us know.

If anyone is undecided on the Note idea, GET IT! I bought the last version last August and it has been amazing. If it had the HD screen like this one, i'd be in heaven. But even with the low res screen I have, I still love this thing. I used it all day yesterday for Pandora, Hangouts chat, note taking, and web surfing (I was home sick) and it just performs flawlessly. The S pen adds a whole new world of functionality to a tablet. For anyone who gets this 2014 version, enjoy it!

Not sure if that is the release date or not, I know the Galaxy Gear and GN3 are supposed to launch that date and worldwide in October (read US). I am pre-ordering my GN3 tomorrow on Verizon , woo hoo, and IF Verizon offers a 32GB with LTE then I would get that as well, but I suspect it will be WiFi first then LTE later on, perhaps at CES since the current GN10.1 was late with 3G on Verizon.

Is there an SD slot? I love my 32GB S4, but seems the $400 Asus is the better buy at $400 for the 32GB version and $500 for the 64GB version and both have sd slots.

I have the Asus TF700 and I'd be curious to see how they compare. I would also be interested to hear about the battery life as well...

Hopefully the prices isn't ridiculously expensive.. I'd like a 64g tab or I'd settle for a 32g.. That's what I have now.. Hopefully the prices will come out soon so I can sell mine at a reasonable price..

I'm thinking it wouldn't go too well for the TF700. 3GB vs 1GB...2560x1600 vs 1920x1200...fast SoC vs not-so fast SoC...S-Pen vs no S-Pen, etc. etc.

You have the option for the nice kb-doc though

That is for the import version since they deal a lot in overseas only products. The markup is big on their end but within reason given qty and cost to import. I am pegging pricing inline with the 2012 edition $499-549 16GB-32GB. Now if they want $799 then it better be 64GB LTE otherwise forget it.

Not to mention they don't even tell you what storage capacity you are actually buying for that price, it could be the 16GB WiFi and that would be a crime.

I'm thinking pricing will be in the ballpark of Raptor's estimates above. I know these exact details are highly anticipated, so I'd expect official announcements soon.

With last years Note 10.1, there was a site selling them from overseas for $800.00 and that was because they had some in stock before the official release date or even the announcement. Then a lot of people started rumors about how the USA version wouldn't have 32 GB or wi-fi only. All of those rumors turned out false and once the device was available it was 500.00 for 16 GB and 549.00 for 32 GB. I am confident that the new one will be the same pricing within 50 bucks either way.

Ok, so I got a reply to my inquiry over the weekend from the folks listed above. They are simply nuts or are expecting really desperate users to bite early on. The $799 price tag is for a 16GB WiFi only model. You read correctly 16GB WiFi. I don't know what they think they are selling but I expect the GN10.1 2014 Edition to hit the US sometime in Q4, hopefully October or sooner but I am not spending and extra $300 on unit I can wait 1-2 months on.

Yeah, they don't feel good at that price point. They're just waiting for all the suckers to come in
