Is it mad to buy the galaxy note 10.1 2014 when I have a note 8.0

I do love what I have seen from the new note 10.1 with the features from note 3. I do love my note 8.0 but think it would be good to have the note 10.1 for at home and my note 8.0 for on the go..but really should I bother having the note 3, 8.0 and note 10.1? Do you think it's foolish?

I think I would opt for the Note 3 and the 10.1. Essentially the same device in a 5.7", 8", and 10" seems a little overkill, but to each his own.

You and I are in the same boat. Me with AT&T (since late June). Here's my plan. A friend gave me their former AT&T MiFi. I'll just move the SIM to that if I decide to sell Note 8.0. You could probably find a MiFi pretty inexpensively.

There's no shame in getting this new 10.1 even if you have the Note 8, and plan to get the Note 3. I can see all three being very useful in various circumstances and I can assure you i'd do the same exact thing if I had the means to do so. As it stands, I only have the original Note 10.1. I just love the idea and implementation of the Note series and I can't imagine having a tablet without the S pen.

I can highly recommend the Note 8.0. Fantastic device and the S-Pen stylus works consistently flawlessly.

Yes for a on the go device the note 8.0 is great. the S pen I use alot when on forums or sending tweets...I use my note 8.0 and take it to work all the time. very useful when at home just walking about too.

I view having the 2, 8 & 10.1 allows me to use device that fits my needs. Long term holding makes the 10.1 heavy. The 2 is nice, but small for intensive entry. The 8 is ideal for so many tasks the others have minor issues with.
