I just created a task using action memo. Once you write the memo, click on the 3rd icon from the next to the pen (looks like a dotted lasso). It'll highlight your text and ask what you want to do with it. The last option create a task.

After I clicked that option, it asked where I wanted to have the task saved. I selected my Google Calendar so I have the task on my tablet and my phone. Once you pick where you want it saved, you can edit the different options in your calendar (i.e. reminders, time due, etc.)

    Hope that answers your question.

    thanks, yes, very helpful.

it looks like the tasks created under action memo are being sent to "My Tasks" (default task location), not my MS Exchange task list. What I am trying to work out is how to change the default from "My Tasks" to another task list, whether Exchange or gmail. so, I guess I originally made the default as "My Tasks". Can't work out how to change it...

    any thoughts?
