When I plug in a set of earphones my GN 10.1 2014 senses it and gives me options in the notifications share of apps that I apparently use while listening to headphones.

Any way of editing these like my LG G2 can or at the least, clearing out the memory for what pops up on there?

Sorry, but you can't. Not even with Tasker.

The "Buddy" service is auto-populated with the latest and most used apps you open while you have your earphones plugged in. It usually re-populates every time you reboot the device but it also does it periodically after a while. Without root, you can't edit this list. You can, however, disable it from appearing even without root, just find the "Buddy" service in the Application Manager and disable the app to keep it from popping up when you connect your headphones.

You can manipulate it by plugging your earphones, opening the five or six apps you want there, then unplug. Rinse, repeat. It helps if you reboot every two or three 'pluggings'. Eventually the list will populate itself with those apps.
