Issues with drop down menu and s pen

Hi, I got my tablet about a month ago, and I have been having issues with the drop down menu and the s pen. Sometimes when I unlock the tablet the drop down menu at the top of the screen doesn't work for ages, and whenever that is happening I can't access the air menu with the button on the side of my s pen. It also tends to lock itself every now and then when i'm using it. Is this an issue I should be taking back to the store? Advice would be appreciated.

Never mind, I just found someone with the same issue. I will try removing the cover and see what happens...

Yeah, it sounds like your cover is interfering

It works like a dream now
I will invest in a different cover. Someone recommended some good brands in a different post. I'll try one of those.

Alana, I don't have that problem or any issues with my GN/2014 using my Poetic cover. I highly recommend it
