Music controls on lockscreen is unresponsive.

When I play music on my tablet, and I lock on the screen there are music controls. Pretty standard. These controls worked just fine for over a year, but just tonight they stopped working properly. Press pause, back or next and nothing happens for 10 to 20 minutes . . . I think. Its hard to tell. I changed nothing, and the behavior is just bizarre.

When was the last time you restarted your tablet. Also, if you're syncing your music, it could be a sync problem... especially if one of your music files is corrupt. Turn off all syncing to see if it helps. It might not actually be broken, it might just be stalled due to a sync problem.
