Recently I've been looking into note tablets. I've been wanting to use one for art and note taking, it'd be useful to use around. Looking over both 2014 note tablet models, I got curious and found that they have almost the same specifications aside from battery size and screen size.
So I was wondering from note 10.1 users if this tablet gave you an problems on terms of a small size or anything like that? Maybe there were some missing features that the note 10.1 missed out that the note pro has? I'd like to hear everything on your opinion on one or both if these two tablets.

A 12" device is way too big for my use - note-taking on-the-go in projects. I have both a Note 8.0 and 10.1, both with 4G (switch the SIM between them). Wouldn't even look at a 12" device for my uses.

You will get all kinds of answers on that one. So here's mine. I prefer the 12.2 as it is big enough to do real work. I can do spreadsheets, word docs, watch videos on the super screen and so on.

I also hear that you can open 4 windows at once on the 12.2, while the 10.1 you can only open 2, is that true?

Alright guys, so I found a better deal on the 10.1 tablet, WiFi only. It's pretty big and suitable, I can't imagine how big the 12.2 is. I'll try multi tasking features sometime soon.
The exynos 5420 in this is pretty okay, kinda wish I had the snapdragon 800 but oh well.

    Thanks everyone for answering.

Good info. I am interested in a larger note tablet. I am going to try a Surface Pro, but really want access to all the Android apps. I want a Note for note taking and some light photo work.

Actually, a Samsung Note (10.1 or 12.2) running the Microsoft Office applications and Note is probably superior to the Surface as a tablet. Not as a computer, but as a tablet. If you use OneNote, for example, everything you do with OneNote in the Note tablet transfer seamlessly to a Windows computer (either desktop or laptop). Having had access to both, I prefer the Samsung Note 10.1 2014. It is lighter, it is really a true tablet and it can mimic a laptop well when it is combined with a good BT keyboard and mouse. I think that the shape is ideal in terms of weight and convenience when Note taking.
