Fuzzy/Soft Focus Pictures

The lens covering camera "cell" on my tablet is becoming scratched and is causing images to become fuzzy like a "soft focus" used in portrait work....Anybody tried polishing lens to restore crispness to images... OR am I going to have to put a new back on my tablet...

I'm pretty sure the lens cover is made of glass. If it's plastic, you can try using plastic polish. I've used Mother's Mag polish on my plastic eyeglasses, and car headlight lenses with no problem. Just use sparingly as it can get messy. If the lens cover is glass, you're probably gonna have to replace the back cover as I don't see them selling them like they do for the Note 4.
