Send text message??

I just got the note 10.1 and I also have a Galaxy S3. Is the a way I can send a text message through the phone using the tablet?

Only thing I can think of is if you have a google voice number. I'm sure there are texting apps but not sure if they work on your tab in conjuction with your regular phone #.

Can't you use Pinger or Textfree. It gives you a number that you can text from.

I wound up buying Tablet Talk from the Play Store. Got impatient. Was $2.99 and easy setup. Pairs with phone over blue tooth or wifi. Works very nice. I am very pleased.

Google Voice is an easy setup too - and it's free.
I prefer it on my phone also.

I have been using DeskSMS + TabletSMS (stock app) = AWESOME = highly recommend it !! So awesome, I went ahead and bought DeskSMS for only a dollar, can't beat that

Tablet talk is great. You can dial the phone from it too. Useful if you're using a headset.

Mysms is fast and easy to use. Just put it on the phone and tablet tell it to snyc and done. It even does notifications on New text on tablets.
