Updated tablet but now the thing talks to me....turn this off?

How do I turn this option if it tellmme I have a new email?
It was off till a update was pushed out for the tablet.

I think those settings are in the Accessibility section of Settings - Talk Back? Try toggling that off and see if that fixes your problem.

Or you may have enabled Driving Mode. Go to the notification panel, scroll to the right (if necessary) and press the button to turn it off.

Yeah, I had that happen on my GS lll phone. I had Driving Mode on. I must have hit it accidentally. Once I turned it off, no more talking to me about emails.

Its nolonger on the notification panel from 4.1.2....

Its new home, for some stupid reason, is settings > language and input > text to speech output > driving mode!
