    However I wish I had bought the 4g version over the wifi.
    So much of the value in Android devices is in their Internet connectivity.
    It would have been nice to have the large screen on maps navigation during a recent road trip. I know maps can be downloaded but they do not have the up to the minute traffic accident information that was so helpful avoiding an accident backup during our approach to Nashville just prior to Thanksgiving.
    It is amazing how LEO's update maps in real time.
    Obviously I don't get out much! But it's nice when I do.

    You can do Google Maps and Navigation on your phone, too....

    Yes I did use my GN3. Still, the larger screen would have been nice.

    Have you looked into mobile hotspot on your phone? Probably won't cost more than what a 4g plan for a tablet would cost depending on carrier.
