For the last 3 or 4 days, 2 days? My phone is SO slow. And it's been dropping calls constantly. Verizon. It's just not the same phone. Very aggravating.

Have you installed any new apps? Have you cleared the cache partition?

Try in safe mode if it's still happening.

Definitely try and clear cache via recovery first.
Think recently installed apps, especially so called cleaner apps..... they are lethal..

I have cleared the cache twice. Updated all apps. Deleted many apps. Still very laggy. Also, screen is becoming unresponsive (finger or spen) from time to time. I tried several times to be able to make this very post. Just not the same phone I bought. Am going to try safe mode next. Thanks for all your suggestions. Will report back ASAP

One thing I'd check is to see if the same thing happens on Wi-Fi, see if that's different from the network results. A few years back, I was in an area where they were doing network upgrades, my phone was lagging horribly. I called the customer assistance number, gave them my number, and they checked, discovering that the area was being updated, and it affected the area as a whole. I thought it was my phone, too, but it was network.

Is it behaving better on Safe Mode, or did it just improve on its own?

Are you using one of the Android Central apps to post, or are you using the mobile browser site? What kind of trouble are you having?

I thought that might be the case. It was one of those esoteric happenings that a lot of people forget might be in play when an otherwise excellent device starts "acting up." While I'm still learning a lot of the Android specific things myself, I've seen som crazy happenings over the years I've been in the smartphone game. I looked at the posts and tried to thing of the suggestions that hadn't bee addressed.

Now, as far as posting on the forums goes, there are moments when it can be a little slow to load up. I've had that happen on all of the associated sites in the Mobile Nations Groups. There are gradual changes being made, as preparations for updating to a new format are in progress.

There might also be bandwidth issues at play, as many folks are still consuming data at prodigious rates. Providers have been having to make improvements to compensate for the increased demand.

Great, I was just going to ask you have you taken it into the store and have them evaluate on whether replacing it or not?
    Disregard..
I'm glad it all worked out for you.

Okay... so I bought a new router. Didn't really help. This morning went to Spectrum and got a new updated modem. BAM! I'm back! So fast. Thanks for all the help.
