How to keep Notes 10 camera to stay on?

[Android Central Question]

I set up the camera to take pictures of birds visiting the bird feeder using a remote control while staying out of sight. I have set the screen to stay awake. But the camera shuts off after about 3 minutes even though the screen stays on. How do I keep the camera to stay on?

Maybe if you use it in video will stay longer and can take a picture also.

Most cameras will auto-close if you are not interacting with them because they eat up a lot of battery power due to the direct feed to the screen.

If your remote does not allow for some type of interaction with the camera other than to release the shutter, you are probably out of luck.
