UK August update fail.

I know i could just wait the 2 weeks until the N20U comes, but .

Anyone else having the August security update fail?

Downloads, reboots to apply and fails straight away. Fortunately it reboots again ok.

Yes, few of us getting that.
Don't bother with factory reset etc... I've already done that with no success.
I have reported it to Samsung but please do so as well if you have the time

I can see from comments on YouTube that this problem is widespread, we'll probably get a new update in not to long.

Same here just reported to Samsung care waiting on the cause and as you said if its widespread then Samsung should be aware and bringing out a fix soon

Samsung Note 10+ 5G purchased direct from Samsung Uk and getting the update failed both trying on mobile data and Wi-Fi.

I assume it's either Samsungs servers or the update is borked.

I'm going to hold off trying again as I'm not keen on putting my phone through the failed update process.

I'm in the Uk so I'll be watching what people experience with the Exynos Chipset in the Samsung Note 20 Ultra.

Excellent, it seems to be the 5G version only so far from what I can tell

Exynos 256 GB unlocked 4G model. I installed the August update about 5 hours ago. Cleared the cache partition. Phone's working fine. However I'm in Nigeria

The update has been removed when a person checks in Settings and then the software update.

Anyone who has successfully completed the update won't be affected.

Yours is the 975 (non 5G)
It wasn't affected and you could complete the installation so you are safe
it the 5G 976b version that there's an issue with
