How to get notifications to play on my phones speakers while BT devices connected

I drive a transport truck, and listen to my music and audiobooks via BT to the trucks stereo. I do not want my calls coming through the stereo though, as it is really crappy for calls. I have a BlueParrot headset for my calls. I do not wear my headset unless on a call, so I do not hear the notifications when the music or book is playing. I need the notifications to come over the phones speaker only. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10+
