Issues with smart switch

Hi friends

I have a note 10 plus 5g on the latest firmware and I'm trying to back it up using smart switch. The problem is when I plug it into smart switch it tells me it cannot back up videos or photos because they're hidden by a locking app yet I don't have any locking apps installed and secure folder is disabled. It also tells me applications may not work properly due to the software version of the connected device. These error message are the same both on windows 10 and the latest version of mac OS. Any information would be helpful.

Have you checked if smart switch is up to date ?

Yes I'm using the latest version on both my Windows and mac machines. I've tried a different USB cable, restarting the device, enabling and then disabling secure folder and allowing it to back up anyway but they all don't work ☹

Can you show me a screenshot of smart switch while phone plugged in ?

Sure here you go. It shows the exact same message on mac os (both have the latest versions of smart switch and their os')

Thanks, yeah it's just warning if you have them hidden it won't back up so no worries if u don't

Where does it give you that error, the one you showed in screenshot is warning not error or not that it didn't back up

It doesn't actually give an error. If I proceed with the backup it goes as usual and then at the end shows what's backed up but gives the same warning messages

When it finishes you see what's back up ? Disregard the warning

So after it finished back up it says photo not back up ? No that waring but on the screen?

After it's done it shows exactly the same warnings shown in the screenshot and doesn't back up photos, videos and apps. Could it be that I have an app installed hiding them? What apps would do that? Or could it be that smart switch doesn't support the latest android version yet?

The only time you see that warning is because you have the cursor on that message, it's there to alert what won't get back up , it doesn't mean it's not back up., You would get a error like this during back up

Go into your back up and you will see they have been back up

After back up finished it said my apps weren't back up. As you can see in screen shot , so if you seen that then they didn't

Like I've said about 8 times now - it doesn't back up those items that's the problem and of course I've already check the back up

You haven't shown any evidence that it didn't , that warning is just a warning

OK I'll do another back up and show you the screen shot of what it says at the end and what's in the back up. In my case it isn't just a warning l
