After seeing a few J.williams videos on the Note 10 it appears Samsung is going for a cheap, entry level and apparently a dumded down version of the Note 10 for under 1000.

Jwilliams personally thinks that Samsung might be trying to get people to buy more Notes than the S10 series and I don't know how this will work.

So my questions is to you guys is would you buy a Note 10 with a 1080 screen and a smaller frame, apparently smaller than the s10+?

Do you think this strategy makes sense for Samsung and would it appeal to consumers?

I think it makes perfect sense to have two different size Notes now, not everybody wants a big 6.8 inch screen or pay closer to 1500 than 1000 but still want a Note and I wouldn't consider the smaller version as a Note e-version or budget version at all

Right there with you. What so many people forget is that the SPen is not "just" a stylus. It has it's own set of extra functions, so the S10 size with Note capability is a win for some. The N10+ looks MASSIVE in the hands of the person in that leaked subway video. That thing looks like a brick. A smaller Note would be more comfortable for those with small hands. Also, with a smaller screen, lower resolution isn't as noticeable as with a large screen (imo). It comes with the same storage capability, so an SD card may not be imperative.

I won't be buying it, and I was interested in the Note 10 until the FHD+ screen rumor came out. The resolution is just too low for a screen that size. They should have gone with a middle resolution between QHD and FHD.

Saw on another site the 10+ is going to be $1099. I really see no point in a smaller note personally

    Yes and no.

Customers usually go for Note phones because they are phablets that work well with media things like video gaming, movie-watching, and stylus stuff. However, maybe it will be a good thing for those who want bigger phones but not the enormous models (ie, users with smaller hands).

That being said, it'd be nice if they did a Note 10e similar to the S10e - the same specs (pretty much) minus the bigger screen size and battery size. Smaller doesn't have to mean inferior.

ordered the note 10 black regular, plan to sell immediately and keep the s10e.

It's not that much bigger than the s10e... pretty small for a note and I think it will sell well. I think people getting tired of the phone and upgrade game and just need something pocketable.
