My almost 12 yr old puggle. He almost died last year (he would have), but I made a decision to take him to a specialist where he underwent this major surgery and hes now as good as new. Happy, vibrant. Paid over $6000 that we didnt have to save him and I dont regret it a second. We have had him almost 12 years now, got as a pup.

The first two I just took. The third photo I took just after his surgery in July 2018.

That's amazing! We found out in May our 10 year old lab had bone cancer. Our options were to do nothing, in which case they estimated she'd live another 3 months, or take off her leg and take her for chemo treatments.... I'll post a picture tomorrow of my very happy 3 legged dog!

Prescious. This guy managed to swallow a peach pit -no clue how or why. It became lodged in his intestines. He ended up not eating or drinking for a week, vomiting 20 times a day. First surgery at local vet. They removed the pit and sewed back up, thought everything was fine. They were wrong. He developed a massive septic infection in his abdominal cavity. That vet saidbtheyd likely have to out him down if they attempted to fix the issue. They recommended Akron MedVet. The MedVet surgeon said he had a 50% chance of survival, so I said let's do it. So..so glad I did. Still tear up to this day talking about it. The surgeon there is like an angel to me. He went in, cleaned the infection, removed 30 % of the intestinal tract that was basically dead from infection.
