This is still rumour as far as know so I wouldn't get excited in a positive or negative manner just yet.
Absolutely, but still an interesting discussion.

Without a doubt.... my comment is just to remind those that may be panicking that nothing changes till it changes.

Sounds like what OnePlus and the other Chinese phone makes do, new device models every 6 months. Wait doesn't Hyundai do the same with cars?

The Galaxy Note 10's delivers epic battery life and a super-bright screen in a phenomenally compact design. Samsung kept the cameras mostly the same compared to the Galaxy S10, with wide, ultra-wide and telephoto lenses. But it did bring Live Focus effects to video. The Galaxy Note 10 features a 6.3-inch Infinity-O display, which has a cutout located in the top center of the panel.

I will be disappointed if they go this route, simply cause I've owned the Note 1,2,4,8,9 and now the 10 Plus and I like the squarer phone etc, but it's all just rumor.

The only real issue I see is the fold is still very very expensive compared to the s line and Note line, they certainly won't shift as many of them as Notes for a number of years.

They still need a one to lunch around iPhone time. The Fold? Doubt it.
    Samsung on something new.

Even if they launch the fold at the same time it's not a competitive model.

IMO if they plan to merge both lines then they should keep the late summer or even push to a fall release. To compete with the Apple and Google releases. I always thought this was the best season for releases with the Note, iPhone and Pixel releases. I used to lump LG in there but they fell off a long time ago. Lol

LG is a lost cause unfortunately. They had lots of potential but just no execution.

Don't care what they call it. One new phone release per year seems like good sense and so long as they keep the s-pen with all its awesome functionality then that's great by me.

This stinks lol. Merging the S line with the Note. Okay that's fine but that means in March the next spen phone will be out and our Note 10 will be old and we will have to chuck out money in a few months again!!!
Or you could look at it this way. You'll own a Legacy Note.....unless Samsung has code named the new spen device the "legacy".

You do know you don't HAVE to spend that money on a new phone right? Every phone that comes out will be supposedly outdated when a new iteration is released .It's the cycle. Lol

Anyway it's no big deal to me if they merge the s and note lines. If you really think about it since the s8 the s and note lines were becoming so similar. The things that were setting the notes apart from the s line are becoming non existent with the exception of the s pen.
How dare you inject common sense into a thread where there is none.
Shame on you sweetypie - shame shame shame -

How about waiting to see what actually happens before getting all whatever you're all getting.

Again...I don't care what it's called. As long as it has the SPen and it's suite of functionality, I'm fine. As far as the "Note" line disappearing, it seems more like the "S" line is disappearing. The Note has all the S line software PLUS Note software. Call the device what you will.

As for the fold, I don't think it's a good idea to release it on the Note's current timeline. Fold and iPhone are apples to oranges, no competition at all.

I will probably buy it either way, but I could see how it would be an issue for some. I might be on the Pixel 4 by then...haha

Also means no more small Samsung Phones.
I'm in the minority who prefers smaller phones, so hopefully Samsung doesn't abandon this idea entirely! I love the S10e - hopefully Samsung will come out with a similar version.

If depends on how fold sells, I hope they don't expect note type numbers at that price and already negativity with issues.
