Just got a new Note 10 plus from Verizon and whenever I upload my videos to my amazon cloud , Google Drive , WhatsApp and Facebook its desaturated and looks terrible ? I tried changing to 720 and 1080 and turning off HDR and nothing helps ? The video looks great on my phone . Any recommendations? I had a note 5 before and it all worked great . Any help would greatly be appreciated

Are you watching them on another device?

My wifes iPhone shows them on her what'sapp and amazon drive showing them desaturated and degraded.
I can't find anything online about this issue ?

It's a problem with your wife's phone. Especially, if it's a model that has an LCD display. Since your Note 5 had an LCD screen, you wouldn't have noticed a difference.

I want to amend my last comment.

I recently shot some video and it looked washed out and flat after I posted it to Facebook; both when viewing the post on my phone AND on my desktop using the new Edge browser. I remembered this thread and I wanted to revisit it.

When I view the video directly on my desktop (no web browser), the colors seemed a bit off and flat.

In the camera settings (Camera -> Settings -> Advanced recording options) there is a setting for HDR10+ video (labs). It says, "Optimize the contrast and color of each scene by recording rear-camera videos in HDR10+. A supported device or service like YouTube is needed to play HDR10+ videos correctly."

I am now wondering if that is what is causing it to look flat on other devices and services that don't support HDR10+. I'm going to turn it off and see what happens.

I also found this while doing some more research.

    Update to my update.

I uploaded the previously mentioned video shot using HDR10+ to YouTube, and it looked great. I also found some info indicating that Facebook doesn't support HDR video at this time.

The problem seems to be with Facebook and on devices that don't support HDR and more specifically HDR10+.
