So I had the original note, but before that I had the HTC EVO 4G which I believe may have been the biggest screen available at 4.3" (I might be wrong on that)

What did you all start with on the large(ish) screen phones.

Note 3 was my 1sr larger phone. Then got Note 4 and Nexus 6. I think Nexus 6 was BIG at the time in comparison.

Droid Maxx. I was really worried that this screen would be too much, but I've gotten used to it. To the point it could almost be a bit bigger.

I love big screens as well, which made the decision to get the Note10+ a nobrainer. Previous phones are Note9, Note8, Levovo Phab 2 Pro, Nexus 6, Moto X Pure, HTC One M8, Galaxy S3, Iphone 4, Iphone 3G. Samsung Sync.

I loved the big screen on the Phab 2 Pro at the time, but that phone did not receive 1 update the whole time I had it, disappointing.

Note 5... love big screens - was a little disappointed when I got the 10+ and realized they made the 10 smaller than the 8/9 and the + was basically the same size.

Note 2 was my first "big" phone. All my iPhoney friends back then were quite awestruck and jelly on the size of my Note 2 compared to their tiny iPhone 4 or whatever it was back then.

I also had the HTC Thunderbolt. The alleged very first 4G smartphone. I was first in line at the Verizon store at 4:30am on debut day to get the Thunderbolt. That too was a rather large phone. Battery life sucked badly.

My "Bag" phone was my first large phone but no screen. My Note 2 and 3 next big screens. Then went to LG V series (10, 20 & 30). Now back to the Note 10+.

Note 2, Note Edge, LG V20 (when Note 7's were pulled), Note 8 and now Note 10+. Before the Notes I start with the little HTC Incredible, and then the HTC Thunderbolt.

Yep, I had the HTC EVO but my first Note was the 2. I remember bringing it to the gym that first day and random people coming up to me asking "what is that, is that a phone?"
    It was awesome!!

So you're disappointed in the Note 10+ because the physical size is the same as the 8/9? That is true, but the actual screen is .5" bigger because the screen is the whole glass.

You wishing you would have got the regular 10 because its physically smaller but same screen size as the 8/9?

this was actually my first, then the 4G model. I'm pretty sure I still have both of them along with my Note 3 and 4.

No, I thought the 10 would be the same size as the 8/9 and the 10+ would be bigger. Calling them the Note 10 and 10- would have been more accurate.

Love the phone (how could I not, the 8 was my favorite phone prior) but I was OK with it being a little bigger, and found the name to be misleading.

But the note 10+ is bigger than the Note 8/9/10 6.8" screen vs 6.3" screen. The plus also signifies, more RAM, storage, sd card slot, etc...

I'm not disappointed in the phone itself at all. Just initially at the screen size. The difference in functional screen size seems negligible to me, after comparing it side-by-side with my 8 prior to trading it in.

The 10+ is roughly the same physical size as the 8, the 10 is definitely smaller.
