Thank you. This should be stock. The only reason I kept AOD on all the time was for notifications. I listed the direct link below as aodnotify is not the exact title, shows as a different name. Works good so far, I'll give it my 24 hour test before buying it.
Most the time, burn in is from third party apps that don't incorporate burn in protection on their apps.
You will love it. Works perfectly for me. Been using it for 2 weeks. And agree, this option of AOD turning on and staying on only when there are notifications we care about should be stock.
First question I have is, was it a third party app. Such as Google maps left on for a long time.
Could be, Samsung internet could do it, calculator, anything that doesn't move a little, just stays lit.
I kind of remember that now you mention it. Assuming that's why Samsung now has the AOD move. They learn from those issues.
You're talking about the charging, time left at bottom of screen. I remember that also... My guess that person has the phone charging all the time. Up till today my AOD has been on all day every day and all night while charging and no burn in. I suppose there's always going to be some that can burn in. Samsung must not have that part moving, I don't know I'm no expert by any means. I know the clock area and FPS moves.
that's why I don't let that charging info stay on my screen. I never have allowed that to stay while charging on any of my Notes.
I didn't know you could turn that off. I'll have to look for that setting.
