    Hey everyone,
I have had the note 10 plus for a around a month and a half now and i have to say it is awesome except for the battery.
When i first got the phone i used to use 1 percent of battery in around 7 or 8 minutes but nowadays i am losing the 1 percent in only 5 or 6 minutes and i have no idea why. I trsted using thr same applications, same settings and everything.
The only thing that has changed is me keeping the phone idle for around 11 days between off and on and this is because i couldnt use it when i am at work as i am not allowed to use a phone with a camera when on duty (so the phone stayed idle for 11 days once and 3 days another time).
Could the idle time or that time when my phone was off affect the battery in a such a way.

When i switched the phone on the second time when it was idle, i found only 1 percent drain from when it was switched off 3 days before which was good but the moment i turned on the wifi it dropped around 2 percent in under 5 minutes.

I need someone to explain to me what is happening exactly.

Note: i have gone from zero to 100 three times on this phone when i first got it and every time it gave me around 8 hrs or 9 hrs OST

Hahaha. I just had to laugh. Because thats what i as a N10+ user/owner is going through too. Came from a Huawei P30 Pro. And yep... The battery life of my N10+ is horrible. I wanted to blame weak signal but my Huawei had way better signal with the same sim.

For basic comparison, my N10+ would use 10%-15% of battery for a standard trip from point A to point B using Google Maps. But my previous Huawei could it with just 4%-8% of battery.

N10+ has a bigger battery compared to the Huawei P30 Pro but God knows what the heck is going on with Samsung... I suspect the Exynos processor...

I did make a thread before... Owh btw, the Fast Charging kinda makes up for the lack of battery life for me.

    welcome to N10+...

the answers i got was, either let the phone "learn" my usage or check my signal...

as a matter of fact.i dont remember letting my phone "learn" unless its a Samsung...

and guess what?2 hours of gaming(botting) on my N10+ made the battery go from 100% to 45%...

Its good dont get me wrong but the rate at which it sometimes dissipates is weird like losing 2 percent in 4 min all of a sudden and sometimes losing a percent in 8 min which is normal

I am no expert, but I have a Note 10 Plus and the battery has been great. I have an USA Verizon Note 10+. I wonder if the issue is with different versions of the Note 10s. For those having battery life issues, what version of the Note 10 do you have?

    Could be a Exynos issue

It's all down to screen brightness, network signal, apps in use, temperature etc etc.
Right now I am on 65% battery after taking it off charge at 7am (13hrs approx) with 2 hours screen on time, signal up and down but not the best, but a few weeks ago on vacation I had nearly 3.5 days with over 6hrs screen on time and around 15% left.

It's all down to personal usage really in my opinion.

PS mine is unlocked Exynos in the UK

At this point I have come to realize the battery life depends on the user. I have noticed I'm not getting 7 hours of SOT like I did when I first got the phone. The thing is I stream alot of music and podcast throughout the day and that plays a big part. I'm still getting 5 to 6 on a heavy usage day.

Yes. Exynos is trash. Even the signal is trash.

probably a safety mechanism since letting the battery zero down is bad for the life of the battery.

The phone should say 0% and lie to the user. When a phone dies the battery is not technically at 0%

This is due to the circuitry inside the battery. It needs power to function and if it dies then battery is a brick.
