I have a 10% rewards offer at best buy and have been thinking about a watch. I can get the Galaxy Watch for 315.00 or the Active 2 for 270.00 I don't wear a watch normally, and don't really "need" it, but it is a gadget so....

Any opinions on which is better to compliment the Note 10 +?

I have the Galaxy watch with my Note 10 Plus, and while I can't speak on the Galaxy Active 2, I love mine. It compliments my phone well.

Hard to advise you really depends on your usage, for me and this is totally my opinion the Galaxy Watch is more a dressy watch with some fitness features, the active is more a sporty watch for the gym etc

I have used both. I enjoy larger watches. This Active 2? It's ideal and I LOVE it. I would recommend it. But again, depends on your preference.

I have the S3 Frontier and OG Watch Active so my opinions aren't based on usage of either you mentioned, but their predecessors. The Watch Active 2 looks a little more elegant and classy, whereas the Galaxy Watch has a more masculine look to me. The Active excels at fitness whereas for me at least the Watch works better as a smart watch. The Active 2 has a smaller overall footprint with the same size display as the GW (for the 44mm WA2 and 46mm GW) so if you have smaller wrists you could get a bigger screen with the WA2 without it overtaking your wrist. They have the same processor, storage, water resistance, and RAM, so performance should be fairly similar. One thing to remember is the WA2 has bluetooth 5, whereas the GW has 4.2 so you'll most likely get better BT performance from the WA2. On the other hand, the GW has a bigger battery, so you may get a little more battery life out of the GW.

Is it worth upgrading from the Gear S3? Battery doesn't last more than a day for me on the S3... Had mine since late 2016...

I just bought an S3 Frontier. I chose it over the Galaxy Watch to get the MST option with Samsung Pay. Very happy with it. I bought it refurbished on eBay for $119. It came looking like new and with everything it's supposed to come with in the original box.

I have both Galaxy Watch (42mm) and Galaxy Watch Active 2 (44mm) and definitely prefer the Galaxy Watch Active 2. The Active 2 has a sleeker, classier look (in my opinion) and has much more accurate trackers. The step, sleep, stairs, and heart rate trackers are all more accurate on the Active 2.

I have both. The GW works really well. I just go the Active 2 a few days ago and so far I love it. It has a clean look and it's much lighter.

You guys are seriously making me wanna order a Watch Active 2.

Remember the battery life is not as good as the GW. Don't want you to get something and then regret it later because of something like 1 1/2 - 2 day battery life if you're used to 3,4 or 5 days.

I love the bezel-less look. Just wish it had mst to replace my gear S3 and it would be a no brainier purchase.

I get about 2 1/2 right now. I really wish my watch had LTE though. I miss the LTE from my Apple Watch. I hate not being able to do a quick errand without my phone. Heck, my watch doesn't even stay connected if my phone is in my bedroom and I go to the other end of my house.

I wish I could afford the Galaxy Watch, really liked the look of the S3 but again couldn't afford it. And Sprint screwed me on a 50% off the Galaxy Watch.
