Not really when you think about it. There were some serious security flaws that Google and Samsung had to patch. Even Verizon was quick to push out the Nov 1 security update. It normally waits until the end of the month to push them out. For example, I got the Oct 1 security patch about a week ago.

I am with at$t and got the update last week. I believe on the first. too lazy to get up, find my phone and check

Yes, I got mine on the first and others on the 2nd. It's definitely available for AT&T

Change the date and time , and go check for Software update.

November patch which it's AT&T latest, also don't need USER_DATA leave blank, also flash HOME_CSC not CSC that way your phone won't wipe data.
