So recently i just found a way without VPN to be able to watch Netflix on my N10+(Netflix is sort of blocked by Indonesia's No.1 Cellular Provider Telkomsel) and i was wondering if is there a way for me to watch on an PC Screen?i mean just the LED Screen without the CPU?

A Miracast adapter, like the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter should work too. All your TV/monitor needs is a free HDMI and USB port. The USB is for power. If you don't have a free USB port, then connecting the USB end to a USB port on a computer or portable battery would provide the needed power.

I have the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter and I've done this several times.

Isn't that a separate service, like Chromecast or Roku? I think the OP wants to just use Netflix on his phone and project it directly from his phone.

Yes, thats what i meant. Well i searched for the Microsoft Wireless Adaptor and it costs USD$150?

This?

Yes, that is exactly it. Wow! $150?!? That is expensive!

Did you check Amazon? $38

Direct from Microsoft is $50.

I take one with me whenever I travel. The TVs in almost every hotel I've stayed at, had both an HDMI and USB port. In the rare case where the TV didn't have a USB port, I just used my portable battery pack as a power source.

The only other cheaper option is what @Galactic Zoo suggested. The downside is that you are now limited by the length of the cable and you can't charge the phone while projecting your screen.

No, no separate service, just a device... about $40. It has apps for Netflix, Amazon and so on but it also allows screen mirroring. If you get the Firestick 4K model there is an update you will need to do in order to make it available; when it was first launched they didn't include mirroring and enough people complained so they added it to an update. When you first set it up to mirror with your phone you will need wifi available, after that you don't need wifi to mirror however you will need wifi enabled on your phone so the two device can talk to one another. I wasn't aware of this until another member sevearal years back mentioned it, he's a trucker and has a little tv in the bed/cab of his truck and would stream Netflix to it.

Only problem with that is on the description it says "Not Compatible with Mac, Android or iOS Operating Systems" so it wouldn't work with his Note 10+.

Eh? Yes it DOES. I have a Note 10+ AND a Tab S5e, both running Android 9 and I can mirror both to my Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. Use the Microsoft link. The Amazon listing is WRONG.

It's because Google dropped miracast support which is universal for chromecast with Android 6. Samsung still has miracast in their phones as it's the casting technology they used on their allshare hubs and in their smart TVs.

They work with the Note 10 and other Samsung devices. They don't work with stock android like the Pixel phones and other near stock android phones.

It's actually accurate, stock Android doesn't support the device so they can't list it as compatible with Android.

Then why doesn't Microsoft list it as incompatible? It's a Microsoft product not an Amazon product.

Also, I KNOW for a fact that it works with the Note 10+. Or did you not read that I've used it several times with my Note 10+?

Here is the compatibility list from Microsoft.

Oh, here is the instructions to connect to an ANDROID device.

Yes. A freaking whole 150 US Dollars... Its not really recommended to buy things from Amazon or Microsoft and ship it to Indonesia... But ill get 1 from Singapore in December.

All of those OEM's add miracast support on their own. Android doesn't have it natively anymore.

Google only natively supports Google Cast now.

The second article you posted above even mentions mirroring using chromecast.

The APIs are still there. How else can the OEM's make it work? Like I said, it was re-enabled in Android 9. In any case, my statement still stands that the Note 10+ WILL work with the Microsoft Wireless Display adapter. Furthermore, iOS also not supports it. Apple started supporting it about a year ago, at least that is according to my iPhone using friends.

My co-worker has the Pixel 3 running Android 10. He could not connect to my Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. So, yes stock Android does not support Miracast out of the box. The APIs are still there though for OEMs to enable it.

Ultimately, the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter DOES work with the Note 10+ as I had stated several times. Which what we were talking about before getting side tracked.
