Why does SAMSUNG DO THIS?

I find it super annoying this bar stays white in the Instagram app. Why can't it turn dark like other apps. Yes I know I could go gesture based but I hate the gestures. Any one have any other tips?

Whats annoying for me is that i cant use dark mode with a theme.

some theme will allow dark mode even the navigation bar. I think it was one of the stock themes. High Contrast ones.
