Thinking about getting a Note 10+ case...

I'm thinking of getting a transparent case from Amazon for my new 10+. Probably gonna take off the screen protector on front and back. Anyone not using a case? How scratch-resistant is this phone? My old Note 3 had no scratches for over 6 years. I dropped it a few times and only tiny pieces of the aluminum cover fell off. Never used a case, either. I don't think this phone will get scratches easily, except for the back glass, but I'm not sure how durable it is if I drop it...

You should be fine with scratches, obviously better than your Note 3 since it's modern gorilla glass. But this is made up both sides glass and might not survive drops like your Note 3 which was made of plastic. Personally, I don't use screen protectors but use a case just to avoid the glass from breaking on drops. It may not crack but if you are unlucky and falls in the right angle then boom gone.

The phone itself is pretty much scratch resistant. But the lens bezel isnt. Mine is scratched up real bad already...

I have the front factory installed screen protector and the backnside uncovered with a Slickwraps Naked foil. It is invisible but adds some grip.
No case needed, but I am always worried about dropping the phone

I have Spigen liquid cristal, dont like it. Had Samsung rubber case and it was very nice but started to wear off quickly, Samsung pretty much replaced it with leather case which I use now, it's also very nice.

Tozo do a very nice minimalistic case with transparent back and they're not expensive.
Screen protector I wouldn't bother with.

I'm using this case. I wanted something that would not turn yellow. The back is tempered glass. The sides are TPU and slightly yellow out of the box. Well, the app won't let me copy and paste the link. Search Amazon for Henpone Note 10+. It costs $10.99. I never had scratches on my phones until the Note 7. They started making Gorilla Glass more shatter resistant but that in turn made it easier to scratch. ***Edit*** Here is the link:

I use....

Samsung Black Leather Official clip on case which adds some protection and essentially grip.

Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector.

dbrand Black Dragon back skin.

I've also used a Spigen Ultra Hybred Clear Case which is nice.

This one without the glitter. Nothing wrong with it, offers better protection then Samsung rubber and leather cases, but I like how Samsung cases look and feel. Of course I got both rubber and leather for free so I dont really care if they wear and I have to through them away. Spigen should last much longer

Above everything else consider that the better condition you keep your device in the likelihood it'll be either worth a bit more in a private sale, or a Samsung trade in down the road.

FWIW Battersea by Gear4 are excellent cases.

Tech 21 is the way to go. Phone takes a beating and never a mark on it. I use tech 21 on every phone i get

I ended up switching

I recently subscribed to SamMobile, mainly to support the site and it was only 20 quid for 6 months but they give you a free phone case for signing up and it is a very nice super slim case

Just got the schnail case. It's protective like OtterBox at half the cost.
