I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus
Should I upgrade to Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra?
I use the pen a little
I take pictures with the note 10 plus but i am not a professional photographer
The battery time is good for me
Am i missing something special about the s20 ultra?

I was actually considering doing the same thing and try the S-line for a change, then I saw the price.. 1579 Euro....
It's only worth it if you really want that camera here and now, personally I can wait for the next Note, plus a few extra months for the price of that to drop as well, Xmas is probably when I upgrade my Note 10 plus 5G

I don't think I would upgrade from my Note 10+ to the S line. I'll just wait on the next Note. The camera is great on this phone already. I says we're not photographers who cares .

Ahhh, no. Nothing about how you use your phone indicates you need the S20 ultra. It is an upgrade over the Note 10+? If you don't care or use the spen, then yes it is. If you use the spen, you shouldn't be asking that question

The main upgrade is the camera and the 120 Hz refresh rate of the screen.
However depends what you are looking on the phone , if your main priority is the camera , yes is a good upgrade!
personally I value a lot the S pen - although I don't use it a lot - so I will wait for the new S Note to come.

The real question is, is it worth it to you. For me, absolutely not. I like my Note series. If you don't use the SPen, then maybe it's something to consider. But then it would make zero sense to jump back to the Note in the fall.

I tell people that ask my opinion, if you don't use the spen, get the S series. It used to be that it would still make sense to get a Note just for the size, but now you can have a big phone without a Pen.

The 108MP sensor is nice - but can the lens resolve 108MP? But you're not a photographer, so 12MP is probably more than you need.

You don't use the pen much, so that's not a factor.

The battery time is good for you, so the 16% increase probably wouldn't do anything for you.

The SoC is a bit faster, but you probably wouldn't notice it.

The 120 Hz refresh rate probably wouldn't be noticeable to you.

The $1,400 for basically nothing better than you have now would probably do something for you - negatively.

You could always try the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and just have it as a 2nd phone, the camera is supposed to be right up there with the S Ultra and it is about 1/2 the price, you also get the fast charger in the box :-)

My itch comes every 12 months. "It's SHOW TIME !" is a very popular phrase nowadays and used in various scenarios. For me every "Tech" year around mid August IT'S GALAXY NOTE TIME.

Look at best buys deal. With their discount and the trade in amount on your note 10+ brings the S 20+ down to $349. Then you also get the $200 gift certificate from Samsung. There will be similar trade in on the note 20. So basically you can upgrade every six months for less then the price of one phone. Just something to think about, you can feed the every six month get the newest phone craving if you want to.

Just be aware, best buy isn't the quickest on pre-orders, be patient if you go that route. You still have your note 10+ to use so there's really no hurry anyway.

I'm the same as you. For me 1400 isn't worth it. Even the 1100 for the note 10+ was pushing it, but getting the $450 for the Note 8 on trade made it more tolerable. The 100X sky zoom looks kind of cool, but i can wait until either august for the new note or further down the line when my phone is paid off.
