Hi. What firecast app's widget you are using in the Note 10 plus.

Before Note I had Iphone. iphone's forecast app was much better than Note's.

    So what you recommend?

Another vote for Dark Sky. Excellent accuracy, and a number of useful widgets (including a 5 day forecast widget).

Is that the trick? A paid app like this? Or this specifically? Because I feel like I've been through all the free ones and haven't really been happy with any of them.

It's free, but to get premium features (like the widget and Wear OS app), you have to subscribe. See more information on its Play Store page: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...rksky&hl=en_US

Do you still get the advance rain warnings?

Not sure about that. It looks like "up to the minute" forecasts are part of the premium sub, but I don't know if that's related to the rain warnings.

Another vote for Dark Sky. Switched a few years ago when The Weather Channel's app continued to be more and more unusable.

Problem with Dark Sky is that it doesn't do severe weather or thunderstorms well. Precipitation is rain or drizzle. And the hyperlocal stuff is usually pretty inaccurate IMO.

Has anyone tried Windy? I had it recommended to me long ago, and I think it works really well. It's not 100% accurate... but I don't think any weather app / station ever is.

What region do you live in? It's pretty good in the SF Bay Area. It gives severe weather alerts based on the ones sent out by the National Weather Service.
