I wonder how hot it gets
Neither the phone or charger gets hot. The phone gets warm like the 25w charger and the charger barely gets warm.

Its like a car with 2500cc turbo(300hp) vs a car with 4000cc turbo(350hp)... Thank God for cars it isnt the way Samsung designed the 25W vs 45W hahahaha.

The 25 watt charger is more than adequate, but that is just the way I see it.
I feel the same, even though I'm getting one, it was in a pkg kit, that I got with my $150.00.
May just see if I can sell it.

    I use several different chargers
    -2018 Samsung Wireless charging pad
-30W FC charger in my bag that has usb-c & usb-a ports. (tzumi)
-Anker 30w dual port Car Charger.

I don't feel the need for the Super FC 45w charger. I almost always have access to a charger.

    Cheers,
    BR

It's gigantic! The wire is super thick too. You know what's neat about the big size....you can lay the Note 10 on the charger while it's in the wall.
    that's dead handy :-)

the 45w charger is faster when the phone is almost dead. like from 10% to 50% or so. if you're the type to top it up every time the battery drops to say 80%, cant tell a difference.

in practice, the battery gets me through the day, and I just put it on the old, slow wireless charger at night, so it doesn't matter to me.

I do the same thing. I use AOD clock so the phone stays on a charger at night and I use a slow one.

You can buy it at B&H photo for $34
I really wish Samsung would sell the 25 watt charger. I'd like another one to keep in my living room. I would buy the 45 but would really prefer to not spend $50 just on a charger.
