Be careful with cheap metal cases

Thought I would give a heads up to people that come across this case I ordered on ebay. I received it today and put it on my note10+ and while it is a very nice case on the phone and it didn't mess with the signal with it being metal or whatever, when I took it off I saw it scratched both sides of the bottom side edges of phone. Yes ticked me off for a minute but realized my phone is in a case 99% of the time and I rarely look at that part of the phone anyways so I'll just have to deal with it. I just learned my lesson and there will be no more cases like this on my phone. Lol. Seller is refunding money and offered to send another one but I said no thanks. Lol. Never had that happen on my other note phones. Probably just that case but I won't take that chance again.

Especially if you have a phone with painted metal. This has been a thing since forever, so I avoid hard cases in general. Things get stuck in between as well. Metal against metal is no bueno.

Ouch! I know this isn't saying much but it's good you found out when you did. It could have been worse.

ouch...does the case have paddings in them?like Element cases?or just straight to the metal?

i once had a palstic case.and yes it did scratch my painted metal phone.forgot what phone but it did.

ouch...does the case have paddings in them?like Element cases?or just straight to the metal?

No padding. It was straight metal. Lucky it wasn't worse lol.

owh my...its like otterbox defender but metal...defender has a padding though...but the inner frame is in direct contact with the phone...now it makes me wonder about my Defender lol.

Anyways, in the pics of the sides you can see at the bottom where the closure part of case don't fully closed. That tells me it wasn't made right. It actually looked like a nice case but yeah it ain't going back on after that lol.

Yup. Its plastic wrapped around the phone(with padding at the back only) and another layer of rubber... UB Pro does it differently. UB Pro holds the phone by the top and bottom. But leaves the side kinda hanging.
