Touch Key Light - Can I turn it totally off

As I'm pondering whether to get this device or another I have been reading the manual. I see that one of the settings in the Display area is "Touch Key Light duration".
1. Does this control the two android keys on either side of the home key?
2. Can you set it so they never light? I like to use my phone to read at night and it's really irritating to have little lights, even dim lights, keep popping on every time you turn the page.

You can turn them off on the Note 1, I do that for reading also.

Yes it controls the home button and back button.You can set them so that they don't come on at all. That's how mine is set.
