Oh heck yeah!!!! This is what I've been waiting for and the phone is still a month away for me! When do we expect to see it on the AC store?

Also does the case cover anything up microphone wise?

I have the iphone5(selling to get Note 2) version with kickstand. There does seem to be a small magnetic piece on the edge of the kickstand.

Will let you guys know. I just ordered one with the holster. If it doesn't work well, I'll ask seidio to refund/exchange for a non-kickstand version. I like the smooth feel of their surface cases

Taken from Seidio's description:

The SURFACE? with Metal Kickstand is the right case for those who want a slim case with functional features, such as a metal kickstand. Familiar features, such as our soft-touch coating and slide-in design, enhance the look and protect your Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

The built-in metal kickstand can be used in landscape orientation for a hands free experience when viewing multimedia, managing photo slideshows, and displaying clocks and calendars. The SURFACE? with Metal Kickstand does not support the device in portrait orientation.

- Sleek and slim case that provides scratch protection
- Case raises the camera away from a flat surface in order to protect your lens
- Magnetic kickstand provides convenience by easily snapping back in when not in use
- Precision cut-outs for access to the controls, ports, speakers, and camera
- Unique slide-in design makes putting on and removing your case easy
- Compatible with SURFACE? holster (not included)

I wouldn't think so plus the magnet will be on the back of the phone anyway.

I'm ordering the case as soon as it hits the AC store. Hopefully they'll run a promo sale maybe?

Indeed I shall. Just gotta wait for it to hit the ac store! I'm getting it for the Verizon Note 2 so it won't actually be on the phone until it releases however I have a Seidio Active Extended case on my Thunderbolt and its out lasted every other case I've owned by a landslide. I've used pretty much every high end utilitarian case over the last 5 years and this Seidio takes the cake.

Does it add a lot of bulk to the phone?

It does add bulk to the Thunderbolt bot not a crazy amount. The amount of bulk that it does add is far outweighed by the protection it offers. Seidio Active cases are a mixture of soft gel and hard cases where the gel portion wraps perfectly tight to the phone and then the hard part basically clips or attaches to the gel part creating one wonderful case. It hasn't broke, ripped, or torn in over a year. It also slide in and out of the pocket easily too.

You are correct!! An Otterbox is the only case I haven't owned simply because of the bulk that they add. The Seidio adds about half the bulk when compared to the Otterbox especially the Defender series which is typically massive.
