    before i start asking questions i would like to tell u that this is my first samsung android phone and so far im loving everything about it!! so be gentle to me please..
    1.if i root my phone is there a way that i could un root it so i wont lose my warranty? for example like iphone i could restore it without them knowing that i jailbreak the device

    2.if i root the phone could i also get free apps just like the iphone?

    3.what r the pros n cons by rooting ur device?

    4.what r the top 5 apps that i should have?

    So to all the jedi master out there any comments would be much appreciated

    In my opinion, unlike the iPhone, rooting is not necessary for an Android device.

    You can change just about anything without rooting. I have never rooted any of my phones and tablets and still the customizations are endless.

    Regarding top 5 apps, I only recommend one: it's titled Screen Off. It's the first app I download onto all my Android devices. It allows you to turn off the display by simply touching the icon on the home screen.

    Saves you time from having to fiddle around looking for the power button, and saves battery life because you can turn off the display instantly and not rely on the time out feature.
