Alarm clock

I am coming from htc droid inc and there was a way to set an alarm each night and the screen would get really black except for the time in very faint white numbers. anyway to replicate on the N2?

sorry to be so dumb but what front page of the phone? home page? if so i did and it doesnt have the options to darken the clock. i want the clock to stay on all night but not too bright when i am using the phone as alarm clock? thanks

I don't have a Note, but if you can't find something stock that meets your need, Gentle Alarm is great. It has a customizable night mode that allows you to change text color and size, and screen brightness.

thanks! i just dont feel like adding apps / spending money on alarms clocks on a $300 phone. i cant believe its not built in. i am also afraid to add too many apps. next thing you know my battery life sux, phone crashes etc etc... thanks for the potential idea!

This is the best alarm I have used. It has a great bedside mode using either a digital clock or analog clock.
