a problem with dropbox - it saves pic twice

hi,
i've noticed lately that dropbox has been saving the same pic twice on camera uploads.
i've read that its bcuz GPS tagging is on. is someone else familiar with this problem ?
is there a way to keep GPS on without having dropbox saving it twice?

Do you have HDR turned on? If you do that saves two pictures that look rather close to identical sometimes.

Ive checked, HDR is off
Also gps tagging is off
What can the problem be?
Its really annoying.
