Whenever I receive MMS from other people, they always play as a video even though its a picture. This stops me from being able to click on the picture and see it full screen. Any way to change this?

Save the picture to the gallery then open it in the gallery?

maybe a different app handles it differently but I actually think it is the way the carrier handles it. I could be very wrong though

If you use Go sms or handcent, you can press and hold the message in the message list and select View Flat Slideshow. From there you can click on the image you want to see and view it full screen. Not sure why the stock messaging app doesn't allow this.

I have always found that annoying in android. I hate having to save the picture just so I can zoom in on it.

It didn't do this on my s3. It started when I got my note 2.
