How to hide icons?

Hi guys, i want to hide some unnecessary app icons. I was watching this youtube video and basically all the guy did was hold the back button and he was able to check & uncheck icons that he wants to hide/unhide. I tried doing that but it didn't work..... I have AT&T if that matters. Please let me know

Are you talking about the ATT bloatware by some chance?

Go to the app in the application manager, uninstall updates if you don't see disable, disable, the app icon will disappear.

if you just want to hide apps in the app drawer....open the app drawer, select menu, select hide applications, check the ones you want to hide and click done at the top.... to reverse at any point in the app drawer menu the last option is show hidden applications..

The grid icon in the middle of the dock. Make sure your in "all".
