Bone stock, not rooted or rommed.

My battery life used to be phenomenal. I would check at the end of basically every day and averaged 4-8 hours of actual Screen On time. The Screen would account for 40-55% of the usage, followed by all of the apps that I had used that day. Android System and Android OS would be pretty far down on the list.

Now that I have 4.1.2, I'm lucky to hit 3 hours of Screen On time. And now Screen, Android System, and Android OS are accounting for 20% EACH.

I haven't changed any settings or the way that I used the phone. The only thing that has changed is the update.

    Is anybody else experiencing this?

you could try running in safe mode or do a reset. it's either an app issue or the phone needs a reset. good luck.

Use Bettery Battery Stats. It will help you pinpoint what process exactly is causing the drain instead of just generalize it to the OS.
