FloatNote
hi, thanks a lot for making me aware of addit possibilities re picking up from previous notes-I did not think of that. After your email/ ideas I reviewed my apps and my impresssions are:
1Floating apps for typing:
-Tiny apps are better for audio recording and listening to recordings 2nd place for text editing after Hovernote and TextEdit.
-Hovernote and TextEdit( a multiwindow, not floating appp)are better for typing. They allow you to pick up from the note you left off, and they also allow you to open and edit other text documents from your sd memory. I also like Hovernote as it has the advantage of staying on the screen and you can close it in a specific manner- you can not close it by mistake as other floating apps
2.Floating Spen apps
-Among the multiwindow apps that you already know, I use by default as " floating" Papyrus and Write (my fav, bcs they have the most customizable features ie smaller size) also LectureNotes, Quill.
-Today I came across a 3rd party app called FloatNote see link bellow .It's good for reminders eg memos,to do notes rather than as study notes etc
- ⚝⚝Spen app (Alternative "Touchwiz") / Float Window ⚝⚝ --- ➭➭CM/PA/AOSP - xda-developers. google search is " List of S-pen app & Floating app". or
[APP]$$$... FLOATING Windows { NOTE & FOLDERS & Many more } nice to help US with Spen - xda-developers
3.Re Floating Browser- the apps are meant to exit the window once you use them. You can add your floating apps or multi - window apps in it. It doesnt edit other apps, it allows you to open them without closing or minimizing the apps you're already working on.- it' s a shortcut, not an editor. To edit your apps ( make them multi- window), ppl recommend that you " root"?? your device, I havent tried that.
There is another app recommended by others FLOATING WIDGETS but I struggled with it.
- In an unrel matter, I liked 3 folder applications for your icons that declutter your home screen: Popcon Tray, Floating Browser( they are also floatable allow you to put your floatable apps on top of the ones that you are using) and Popup Folder).
Any other suggestions re productivity would be much appreciated.
