Re: asking for members' support

That's a lot of note taking apps. I never heard of most of them.

I've already (tried) contacting Google for Keep, but they directed me to a forum instead of any devs. How did you contact them?

I'm going in the line of mc_gusto as well.
Sorry for adding all these notebooks. I got a bit excited and carried away with the infinite possibilities of internet / Should have waited for a few days to receive answers from developers and then post.
I received the same message as you did, having contacted them through email and posted a review (all from google play site).
I also received now a message from devs of Handy Note Pro, saying that they are unable to add multiwindows.

I leave it to members' discretion to peruse the list and contact devs if they feel like it

Thanks

Re: Multi Window compatible 3rd party apps

Sorry about adding BT Launcher without a description. It doesnt exactly support multiwindows. It basically can launch 2 apps in multiwindow automatically when it detects a bluetooth device. kinda neat.

No problem. I didn't realize it could do that, that IS neat! I'll have to start another section for apps that can take further advantage of Multi Window (tomorrow).

Hey, we could use a bit more excitement around here! But I could see the thread getting out of control if we post every app that we'd like to see with Multi Window.

Just keep asking the devs & the ones that will, will & the ones that won't, well they'll lose out. Between the original Note, the Note 2, the Note 10.1, the Note 8, (some of the) S3 & now the S4, this makes a LARGE portion of the devices out there. For those of us that value the feature, we'll lean towards the apps that support it.

Re: asking for members' support

The first post has been updated with some new info... check it out!

Again, thanks to all who've been contributing. I'll keep updating it as long as you keep finding new compatible apps!

Re: Multi Window compatible 3rd party apps

Firefox for Android is on the list, but I can't seem to get it to work in MW...

It did, not working for me either. Doing a bit of searching online, others are complaining that Firefox removed the feature. They give "fixes" that don't work. Leave them a review about it to let them know that it's wanted back. I will too.

Re: Multi Window compatible 3rd party apps

Interesting. HiNet ( the developer of these apps) is the largest ISP here in Taiwan. I guess they've noticed how many Note 2s and S3s/4s are floating around here.
I uninstalled by mistake the upgraded " floating banner" and I saw that it's developer added
2 new apps:

account book. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...details?id=gpc.myweb.hinet.net&token=-JF2eLbf
gplayer. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...gpc.myweb.hinet.net.PopupVideo&token=F0LrdtN0

Added. Sometimes a mistake can lead to good things. ;)

GPlayer looks cool, it has both multi window & floating pop out built in!

Re: Multi Window compatible 3rd party apps

Well, I re-read their support forum on it. It seems that because some don't know how to use multi window, they (temporarily) removed the feature. Their support team didn't even know the difference between multi window & tabbed browsing. Anyway, that was a month & a half ago, they've updated the app since without re-adding it, so I removed it from the list. If you (or anyone else) sees that it's back, please let me know.

Oh ya, & thanks for the heads-up.

You are so right... From now on I'll be checking regularly the sites of my fav apps. For ex,
the developer of ezPDFreader (see mod's list)added ezPDFClear https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...GVyLmludGVyYWN0aXZlLnRyaWFsIl0&token=UAtJ6xXb.
Shome(see list)added T2 expense money manager. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...EwMiwiY29tLnQyLnQyZXhwZW5zZSJd&token=7rzzYgf9

Re my inappropr message from 4/13 that unfortunately am unable to erase: I only got 2 pos replies ( that they are looking into adding MW) from NoteLedge and Quick keyboard

Re: Multi Window compatible 3rd party apps

SignalCheck is finally multiview now. Only the pro version for now, lite version coming soon.

Update time!! SignalCheck Pro 3.09 is ready for the masses, and should be available on Google Play shortly. I was hoping to include more new features, but I haven't had much free time lately and I wanted to release the few things that were finished. Here are the changes:
Added support for Samsung?s Multi Window (aka multi-view) feature.

The Multi Window feature is pretty neat, and I'm glad some of you brought it to my attention. I will work on getting the free (Lite) version updated and published soon.

Re: Multi Window compatible 3rd party apps

I added the Lite version, it seems they did update it. Is this the app that you mentioned awhile back?

Yeah one of the 3. The other 2 seem good, they are just waiting for to release.
