I read it & don't think it would have any effect on the Verizon version. Leave it, it's sounds good. I even marked it as helpful so that it'll show a bit higher on the reviews list.

Re: Multi Window Compatible Apps

Did google drop its support of this feature?

Specifically for gmail. I noticed it was listed in your summary. Also noticed it has been said to work but then also said to stop working after the google settings app was dropped on our products.

Maybe we will get lucky and with gmails supposed updated this Wednesday it will come back?

Also here is another one for realtors lucky enough to work with fusion

https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...=com.cloudmosa.coreLogicFusion&token=s3JSDE89

I domt know what the difference is on how the multi window feature works between models but I am using a note 10.1

Gmail still works on my Note 2. This is the first I'm hearing that it didn't work on any device. Hopefully you do get it back, I know how useful that one can be at times.

Thanks for Fusion, it's on the list now.

As far as Multi Window on different devices, I think they all work pretty much the same. I'm not completely positive because 99% of my experience is with the only one I own.

Re: Multi Window Compatible Apps

Gmail works with mine ( it's wednesday in my timeline). The following showed up when I attempted to download Fusion from the play store: "This app is incompatible with your Samsung GT-N8010."

Here's another case of an app working on one version & not another. :p Fusion shows in my MW panel, but since I don't have a subscription to it, I can't actually use it.

Re: Multi Window Compatible Apps

I want to make everyone aware of an update to an app...

I tried all the calculator apps & was not really happy with any of them & found that some didn't even work correctly with MW. I left Google Play reviews with all of them to voice my concerns & only one responded - Calculator Plus Free. We emailed back & forth a few times to discuss the details & today they released an update that has it working great! So, if you tried it before & wasn't happy with it's MW performance, try it again.

Thanks to Micah over at DIGITALCHEMY, LLC for being so committed to getting it working right. I really appreciate people like you!

p.s. - to mc_gusto - I now have a shout out too!

Re: Multi Window Compatible Apps

was trying to find a weather app instead found Another tweeter app. : Tweetcaster https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ls?id=com.handmark.tweetcaster&token=SjIHUXpy

Added, thanks!

re Fusion and Kindle ( and also CloudOn) - seems like only certain carriers( incl mine )don' t support them and that Verizon is the way to go

I'm not completely sure about the others, but most likely Fusion isn't going to work outside of the US.

Re: Multi Window Compatible Apps

sorry, didn't manage to edit my last post in time before your reply - also another calculator.
Multiwindow calculator. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...latoreng&feature=search_result&token=4WIE1wJ0..

Also in the line of the recent discussions: the dev of Local TV https://forums.androidcentral.com/e....localtv&feature=search_result&token=7Mu-nSPv wrote " What's in this version: On Samsung devices with Android 4.1+ the app supports Multi Window Mode." I wasn' t able to download it( said: this app is incompatible with your Samsung GT-N8010)
If smn would be interested to have a look at it - Most channels are from Western Europe and a few from other parts of the world

Added both, thanks!

I tried LocalTV, I got it to work, but it's very choppy & doesn't rescale when using it with MW. A lot of the reviews are negative & I agree with many of them that they need to move away from Flash (which is probably causing the choppiness).

ovo timer. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...tore/search?q=ovo+timer&c=apps&token=C3CNWahs Initially I didn't like it seemed too big but it's actually cool keeps going even after you hit the ' X ' button and it disappears from the screen

t-money balance check. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...l.tmoney&feature=search_result&token=u5uD8UCR

unit converter. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...ZXJzb2Z0LnVuaXRjb252ZXJ0ZXIiXQ&token=LAOLMr5Q..

Re: Multi Window Compatible Apps

Wow this list is getting a little long. Which is great. I do think it might be more useful if it was broken down in categories. Like type of apps. Otherwise it's just going by name and clicking blindly.

That's a great idea! It'll take me some time to do. I'll try to get to it tomorrow.
